I am very passionate about supporting St Katherine's, Lira, Uganda as the education of girls around the world is vital for many social, economic and health reasons. St Swithun's has a close link to St Katherine's as we support over 20 girls in their education who might otherwise not be able to attend school. Several St Swithun's girls and teachers have visited St Katherine's and so this is a very real, and important, realtionship for us all.
