In May 2021, I will be taking on the true fear factor challenge, worthy of a place on (most) peoples bucket list - a skydive! As LSU Rag are facilitating the challenge, the money will be passed through them and onto my personal chosen charity, Mind, a charity who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. I have chosen this charity as I think that it is an amazing cause and I also think that it is so important that people are able to receive the support they need for for their mental health which can often be overlooked. The work of this charity is especially crucial in the times we are currently living in as the mental health of many people is being affected due to the pandemic and its side effects.
