I am going to attempt to run the Rainbow Run 5K to raise money for the Tiny Hearts Appeal to help fund a new Special Care Baby Unit.

People who know me will know that I have NEVER done anything like this in my life. But now I have got to a certain fitness level, I want to see if I can do a 5K and also raise some money for the Tiny Hearts Appeal as part of Barnsley Hospital Charity to help fund a new Special Care Baby Unit. I also want to get pelted with loads of different colours of paint :D.

The special care unit at Barnsley Hospital helped my little sister when she had her son Kaden 8 weeks early and he needed round the clock care as he was a very ill baby. The unit is in need of a massive overhaul which will improve the standard of care for all the special care babies and to make it more comfortable for all families and staff who use the unit.

So if you want to come and laugh at me or cheer me on, it's at Locke Park on Sunday 17th May 2015 and I run at 1:15pm. Let's see how far I get before collapsing. I am pretty nervous, so all encouragement and support will be greatly appreciated. Please help me raise money for a cause which has greatly helped our family and many other families in Barnsley.
