Story

Anyone who really knew me growing up would quickly identify that I was not an enurance athlete. I still wouldn't call myself that, but over the last few years I've made it a goal of mine to see how far I can push my body and and challenge my mental stamina. This year I have really kicked it up a notch. I've just completed a gruelling trail marathon along the south Sussex coast at Beachy Head which included 4900 feet of hill climbing, and in June it's a more difficult and longer 70km course on the south Cornwall coast. But it's a run on the 12th of May that I am specifically raising money for. I've teamed with MacMillan Cancer Support in a 100km solo run from London to Brighton; that's almost 2 and a half marathons in one day! I have two goals, first is to beat the sunset which gives me almost 15 hours of daylight running, and the second is to raise £500 for my charity.
It's not just race day that will push me to my limits. I find myself having to run a marathon (or more) every week just to be ready for the 12th of May and it is staying motivated through the training that is proving the most difficult. Please help motivate me by donating through my Just Giving page. The more money I raise, the more real this challenge becomes. Please, every little bit helps!

Thank you!
