Story

On the 12th November 2014, my beautiful baby girl was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL)...our lives turned upside down and to say we were and still are heartbroken is an understatement.

Ambar was transferred to Sheffield Children's Hospital ward M3 on the same day and started her long Chemotherapy treatment.

On 22nd December 2014, my brave little girl went into remission! Fights not over, its only just beginning.  Ambar is now 3 years old but since November 2014, shes had numerous Lumbar Punctures, blood tests, incisions, strong toxic medication, a portacath and recently had a feeding tube fitted. Ambars been in/out of hospital since diagnosis due to constant infections, high temps, general ill health and all of Christmas & New Year was spent on ward M3.

I dont think I have ever appreciated or recognised how much time, effort, care, support and work the NHS staff do and how little we really value their help and expertise.  The staff at Sheffield Childrens hospital have become a 2nd family/home to me and my family.

As a mother, I am numb with disbelief that my little girl has leukaemia and, if it wasn't for the staff at Sheffield Children's Hospital,  i think i would have had a breakdown. Staff are human too with feekings yet they deal with each child patient as if it was one of their own.

Based on this, my husband Kul & my dear friend: Kim Wilson and I have signed up to complete a Skydive in Brigg on 5th Sep 2015.

On 19th Sep 2015, my beautiful and special friends and collegues from various organisations and locations, will join me to climb Snowden.

We are also planning a Raffle With The Event Taking Place on 25th Sep after Snowden. We have contacted many companies n organisations for Raffle donation prizes and am so overwhelmed at the donations which range from: Spa packages, hotel stays, Harry Potter tour, 4 course Michelin meal plus champagne, Queens gallery visit, Sedgeways, Formula 1 simulation, comedy club tickets, football tickets, signed football shirts, director box VIP rugby tickets and many more. But we still want more donations especially if we want to hit our target. Tickets to be published soon and sold. Draw will take place in Derby

We aim to raise a min £10.000 for Sheffield Children's Hospital ward M3. The money will help them a great deal and help pay towards many facilities that will go on to help children & their families who are diagnosed with a serious illness.

Please support our cause and donate generously. Ambar is only 3 years old (07.02.2012) yet she has been through so much pain and suffering in a short period of time, it doesnt bear thinking about. My baby has only recently started talking, walking, laughing n smiling again...And as a family that gives us strength,  positivity and hope. Ambar has finally lost all her hair, she was born with a full head of hair and to see her with no hair, the pain from your heart shattering is beyond words.

Please don't let Ambars pain, suffering and tears go in vain. Donate and encourage others to donate. Every penny counts. No one knows what tomorrow brings...so lets Unite Together and help children with Cancer and their families even more.

God Bless you all and Thanking you in advance for your generous donation..
Sending out Lots of Love  Ranjit (Ambars mum), Kul (Ambars dad) & all my family and friends XXXX
