When our son Finn was diagnosed with Autism, aged 3, our world changed. Finn started attending Gibside School from reception and we have nothing but praise for the support our family has received from everyone at this fantastic school. 

Standing at the start-line of the Great North Run last year, I (Carmen) knew it would be the only time I ever did that. I am not a runner! Fast forward to now, I can't believe I am going to put myself through it all over again to raise funds for Gibside. With not nearly enough training, I'm just hoping to get round in one piece.

 I may have 12 Great North Runs behind me, but I (Rob) am going to push harder than ever to beat my PB, wearing the colours of Gibside School. Hopefully we will have good condions on the day. #100minutes
