Story

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit our group JustGiving page

A group of 16 of us are going to leave our footprints across 62 miles on the South Downs, UK South coast line which is located between Petersfield and Brighton. With our dedicated support team to motivate and be there st check points along the way we will challenge ourselves mentally and physically and undergo the next 6 months of gruelling distance training to achieve our goal in under 30 hours. The extraordinary Trailwalker 2019 challenge takes place on the 20-22nd September 2019. We have the options to walk, jog or run the 100km distance.

Along our journey We will be raising funds for the organisation Oxfam,  helping to end poverty  around the world, the money raised will be used by Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust to improve lives around the world.

As a group we all personally want to draw attention to mental health awareness and show that some challenges really are mind over matter. The cliche it is ok not to be ok is something we can all relate to and each of us have had our own experiences in and out of the work environment where we’ve needed that influence and support to keep our heads up. This challenge will hopefully inspire those who are struggling to come forward and talk about their problems and give strength to those we inspire to achieve anything they set their mind too. We are all very passionate about succeeding this challenge and look forward to sharing our journey with you.

For those who can kindly donate to keep us motivated,   we thank you in advance for your appreciated support :)
