As adult carers we know the pressure of being a carer alongside work, family, money etc. We make that informed choice, children can't they just get on with what they are dealt. So many young people are Carers, it is  estimated there are 29,000 in Scotland.

We think young people deserve opportunities to have fun away from their caring responsibilities. We are raising money to put towards an event later in the year to give young carers a free fun day. 

We want all the kids to be able to attend without feeling worried about having to find the money or get to the location. We want them to enjoy the activities without having to ask their responsible adult who may not be able to give them the cash to go.

So to raise cash we are out in all weathers, getting soaked, sore muscles and aches and pains all over trying to get fit enough to complete a 100 mile cycle.

We would like to be able to make a donation to our local Carers charity to help them by putting some money towards the event.
