Five months after Chloe's death, her memory and spirit continue to provide inspiration in many ways, and sometimes in strange and unexpected ways, to all those who knew and love her, and even to those who did not have the opportunity.

The Chloe Mansfield Fund is committed to raising £200,000 to fund a playroom in the new respiratory ward at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As Chloe's parents, we have witnessed firsthand the importance of play in helping sick children to find happiness and improve their quality of life. Play is a concept that can often be overlooked or undervalued, but for children who have to spend their lives at hospital and not at home, sometimes without their parents, it is fundamental that these children have a place where they can learn, develop and explore, but also associate with freedom and happiness.

The members of Team Chloe are coming together to run 5k and raise funds in memory of Chloe. But we also hope to have lots of fun on the day, and use the opportunity to thank Chloe for all the new and positive experiences she presents to us through her death.
