We fund antibiotic resistance research to fight AMR today & tomorrow

Story

I have been so lucky that antibiotics have been available throughout the whole of my life. Being a Mum and a Nanna to two wonderful little boys, I know how important it is that we ensure they can have the same protection.  Antibiotic Resistance is growing, at a much greater speed than many people realise.  We need to act now to ensure that our future generations are protected and a world catastrophe is avoided. The global risk antibiotic resistance presents is a huge and terrifying problem.

6 months ago, neither of us could run a mile, now we are to run a half marathon.  A huge challenge but one we feel is important.  We hope it inspires others and helps them to understand that whilst the fight against antibiotic resistance is a tough one, it is one we must start tackling now.

I am so proud that my daughter Jodie, will be running beside me and raising funds for ANTRUK, generation supporting generation. Please help us to raise funds for Antibiotic Research UK, their work is vital for the health of us all.  They are the world's first and only charity focused on finding an effective solution to antibiotic resistance.
