Lucas Hannigan was born on 4th August 2008 and was diagnosed with SMA type 1 on 17th October 2008. He died two months later on 8th December 2008 when he was 4 months old.

LUCAS WAS HERE! Began with Lucas' Uncle Anthony and his friends Dan and Danielle, cycling over 1000 miles from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, putting up posters of Lucas along the way, to raise awareness and of course as much money as possible.

In 2009 Team Lucas' Was Here raised £10,540 for the Jennifer Trust

Then in 2011 Lucas' Daddy and a Team of cyclists took part in the Jennifer Trust Birmingham - Oxford Bike Ride to raise even more.
