Story
Two years ago my niece Mila was born with cerebral palsy, caused by a problem with the brain that occurred during birth. This is a lifelong condition that affects her movement and co-ordination which can improve or worsen over time.
Mila is the most amazing little girl you could ever wish to meet, she is always smiling no matter how hard life gets for her and her family. As you can imagine, she needs special care and attention plus hours of physical therapy.
She is so fortunate to have help from the 'Wipe Away Those Tears' charity, which aims to grant a wish and bring a sparkle into the lives of terminally or seriously ill children in Essex.
So I have decided to try and help this amazing charity as they have helped my niece. Luckily for me, my best friend Des graciously agreed to walk with me and help to raise as much money as we can.
We have committed to walk 100km along the South Downs Way from Eastbourne to Arundel, non-stop in 30 hours or less over the August bank holiday.
We hope you can find it in your heart to help us reach our target or hopefully smash it!. Please, any donation no matter how big or small will be gratefully received.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much for your support and generosity.
Come on let’s make this happen!!
