I am attempting to raise £10,000 for Spinal Research by completing 10 challenges before I turn 40 at the end of the year (hence the imaginative name 10 for 10 Challenge!).
The 10 challenges are as follows:
1. Walking 500,000 steps in a month - Completed
2. Walking 100,000 steps in a day - Completed
3. Completing the 100km Thames Path Challenge - Completed
4. Tough Mudder: the 12-mile obstacle course that tests mental as well as physical strength - Completed
5. Yorkshire three peak challenge: 24 miles of hiking including
5200ft of ascent. - Completed
6. Orange County Trail Run: A trail run into the Irvine National
Park in Orange County, USA - Completed

9. Great South Run: a 10-mile race -Completed

Spinal Research is a charity particularly close to my family's heart so I would be grateful for all monies donated.
Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical
research around the world to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Every year 1,000 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed following an injury to their spinal cord. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on the support of the public to raise funds for our research. Because of the efforts of our supporters, we have funded innovative medical research that has achieved a number of ground breaking changes in the field.
