Story

A group of crazy people from Thames Water are planning a 24 hour bike ride and need your kind sponsorship and support. We will be riding continuously on 2 exercise bikes for 24 hours from 12:00 midday on Wednesday 23rd May till  12:00 on Thursday 24th May, taking shifts throughout the night!

We are raising money for CALM which is Swindon’s Children’s Cancer And Leukemia Movement and a fantastic local independent charity that
receives no funding and continues through generous donations and fundraising events.

CALM is run by a group of volunteer parents where families are introduced to CALM via the Pediatric Oncology Nurse at the Great Western Hospital and support the families whilst most children undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.

Please have a look at their website for some of the amazing work they do http://www.calmcharity.org

Special thanks to Pierre and team at Battleground Fitness for loaning the bikes (http://www.mybattleground.co.uk)

About the charity
