As some of you are aware in late March 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer whilst I was 23 weeks pregnant with our second son. 

Just 2 days after my first session of chemotherapy I suffered a massive bleed and after a very scary ambulance ride to hospital I was rushed in for an emergency c section and Theo Jamie Abraham was born on May 2nd weighing a tiny 1.080kg (2lb6oz) he was immediately taken to the neonatal ward at the hospital which would, for the next 10 weeks become our second home. 

Every single member of staff on Gosset ward made those ten weeks a little more bearable for us. From the first time I was wheeled down to see Theo, 26 hours after he was born they were reassuring, informative and explained everything to us in a way that we could understand.

We will never be able to repay the hard work these people did in making sure that our baby boy will be here to celebrate his 1st birthday with us so..... 

On May 1st we are holding a fundraising event to celebrate Theo's birthday and to raise money for the ward who cared for him and us when it was needed most. 

I've set up this page for people who may not be able to attend to donate if they wish to and for anyone else who wants to donate to such a worthy cause
