Treatment normally starts immediately, is often given many miles from home and can last for up to three years. Being diagnosed with cancer is a frightening experience and the emotional, practical and financial implications of treatment are intensely challenging for the whole family.

They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help patients cope with cancer and get the most out of life. CLIC Sargent are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.
£5 a month could pay for a nurse for 2 hours.
£7 a month could pay for a stay in a Home from Home.
£10 a month could pay for a play specialist for 1 day.
£25 could pay for a social worker to support a family for 1 hour.
£50 could pay for a play specialist for a child for 3 hours.
£75 could pay for a nurse to care for a child for 2 hours.”
