One of Britain’s oldest comprehensive schools and a bedrock of our local community, The John Roan School will be building on its record of fundraising by supporting our local food bank.

In 2019/20 approximately 1.9 million people used a food bank in the United Kingdom, around 300 thousand more than the previous year. Greenwich Food Bank has experienced an increase in demand of 81% since the start of the coronavirus pandemic and a 122% increased need for children.

We want to support Greenwich Food Bank by raising £1000 through a school community run to help them purchase critical supplies.
