I along with members of my family and close friends have decided to do this challenge to help this worthwhile cause. My wife Liz was fortunate to be included on one of the week long events after coming through a cancer illness. Whilst at first I didn't see the benefits of it personally, it is now clear to see that it was and is a very worthwhile cause, that helps all cancer sufferers gain a level of confidence after a life threatening illness. 

Unless we have suffered a similar illness, we will never know the severe mental distress a disease of this nature can place on an individual often for the rest of their life.
