In 2018 we were lucky to accompany Nigel and Sara Hicks, the founders of OVAID, on a fundraising trip to remote rescue centres in Borneo to deliver two new digital x-ray and ultra sound machines to the vets working with the injured orangutan babies and adults. We witnessed the incredible work they do to heal, rehabilitate and release orangutans back into protected wild areas. In 2019 OVAID will deliver two more machines worth thousands of pounds to other centres. 

The work is ongoing and urgent as the rainforest habitat continues to be destroyed to plant palm oil. Many orangutans are still being rescued and saved. All donations will be very welcome.
