I completed my 10km walk 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️on Sun 4th Oct, so so thrilled I took on this challenge & so far have raised €3,490+€40=€3,530. It's an amazing feeling to recovery from such a major operation (cancerous tumor in lung - 2 lobes removed from lung) & now I can give back to organisations, it's a win win for all 😁💪🥰. Yesterday was a very very proud day with 29 people joining me on my walk, it certainly was an amazing day for Fergal my husband & our 2 little girls Clodagh & Olive ❤️

On the 5th February 2020 I was told I had a Cancerous Tumor in my right lung, it was horrendous, very harrowing & frightening shock as our two beautiful girls are only 3yrs & 6yrs old. Thankfully I was told I would have a positive outcome which I am now recovered from 💪🤞. On 19th March 2020 I had major surgery, Mr Ronan Ryan, Surgeon St James operated & removed 2 lobes of my right lung & I am now "Cancer Free".  I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of St. James's Hospital Foundation and I wanted to support them by raising money. 

So my Lung & a bit 😉 together with few family/friends abiding by government guidlines will participate in the 2020 VHI Women's Mini Marathon, I will leave my Home in Croughclooney on Sunday 4th Oct & walk to Glasha & then onto Newcastle where I will have completed my 10km.
