We protect precious habitats to give wildlife a better future

Story

This August I will be walking 192 Miles across England from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hoods bay in Yorkshire. This has been a personal goal of mine for along time, which is finally been realised.

To make this walk extra special, I would like to dedicate it to the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust. They do amazing work protecting unique habitats and rare animals as well as educating people young and old about the natural world. One of those people being me.

They gave me the chance I needed to start my career in conservation and environmental management, by taking me on as a trainee reserve officer at Rutland water in 2011 where they taught me to drive tractors use chainsaws, Identify animals and plants and conduct surveys and lots more.

To say thank you for this. I would like to raise money for them through this walk. so please sponsor me in the is undertaking and help a really worth while cause.

Thanks for reading
