My uncle Alan volunteered with the Blood Bikes for decades. He was the best uncle you could ever want. When he passed away 30 volunteer blood bikers turned up and drove with the car through the streets, something I will never forget. They also named a bike after him "Pasty" :) They are a great bunch of people who do this job for free to save lives.
