I have qualified to do the London Marathon this April and I hope to raise as much money as possible for the Southern Area Hospice based in Newry, County Down.

This is one of the world's great sporting events and it is an opportunity for me to raise some money for a very worthy cause.

My training has started.  I am into week 5 of an 18 weeks plan.  So far, so good.

I hope all my Facebook friends will help me reach my target.  And also my family friends, my golfing colleagues, my running mates, my school friends both past pupils and teachers, in fact anyone who knows me.
