As a Personal Trainer, I am always looking for the next big fitness challenge that would push me out of my comfort zone!

Having colleagues who served in the Forces, who push their physical and mental limitations beyond the call of duty, has inspired me to participate in a Forces Style Endurance Event, so I can have a better understanding of the challenges of a Soldier.

I plan to participate in two endurance events

The PARAS Series - 14/15th May 2022

The PARAS’10 is based on the 10-miler, which is the first event of The Parachute Regiment’s P Company Test Week for selection. The 10-mile march is conducted as a squad over undulating terrain with each candidate carrying a bergen (backpack) weighing 35lbs (plus water).

The Fan Dance Race Series - 02/03rd July 2022

The Fan Dance has historically been an integral part of the British SAS Selection course which was first introduced as an essential test in the decade following the Second World War. At nearly sixty years old it is the world’s oldest and most famous Special Forces Selection test and the standard by which all others are set.
