I would very much like to be rowing but injury put the dampeners on that! So, I have helped raise funds, kit out the crew, employ the services of a private conditioning gym to run regular fitness assessments, get access to heavily discounted Concept 2 rowing machines and ensure the crews have quality medical support throughout the row itself. I have enjoyed every second of supporting this event.

I am not connected with the maritime industry but when I was fully briefed as to the existence and work of the Mission to Seafarers and how their humanitarian work saves so many hard-working and almost ignored people, nothing could stop me getting involved. These seafarers do so much for us and the World with little to no recognition. At times they are abandoned and treated as mere replaceable/disposable assets. The Mission and the seafarers have my total support, and yours too I hope. Thank you so much!
