On Sunday June 5th 2022 i'll be joining an intrepid group of riders on the UK Red Empire State 500, a tough six-day challenge raising money for Rugby League Cares.

Over six amazing days,we'll follow the historic Erie Canal eastwards from the world-famous waterfalls at Niagara to the state capital of New York, Albany, before heading south along the Hudson River on sections of the Appalachian Trail.

The adventure concludes with a ride through the Bronx, Harlem and along Broadway into Manhattan and finish at the iconic Central Park.

Rugby League Cares is an independent charity that touches the lives of people involved at every level of the sport.

RL Cares supports players at the end of their careers, providing education and training grants that will equip them with skills and qualifications needed for life after Rugby league. RL Cares also promotes mental fitness and healthy lifestyle initiatives that are changing and saving lives.

The charity is also there for the families of players on the rare occasions when tragedy strikes, proving emotional and practical support to them through their darkest hours.
