There are Ten of us taking part in Strictly 2018! 5 women and 5 men. We are learning one Ballroom dance and one Latin dance in 10 weeks! I will have a professional partner teaching me the steps (thank goodness). I have no dancing experience at all so I am a little nervous, but excited about the challenge. The competition final is held at Trinity Park on Saturday 21st July. Tickets can be purchased and I will keep you posted about that. I will also be posting a weekly blog about my journey. 

You May be thinking "why am I doing this"? When I heard about the fantastic work Inspire Suffolk Charity does for LOCAL young people, I knew I wanted to be involved. This is a fun way that I can help to raise awareness and much needed funds for such a worthy cause. I haven't asked any of my friends and family for sponsorship or donations for anything before, so please dig deep and give as much as you can. There are lots of people giving their time for free for this event "Ipswich School Of Dance" being one of them. Events like this would not be able to take place without them.
