17.5.15. We did a 19 mile walk from Rolvenden, through Benenden, up to the back of Cranbrook, and back down a different route to Benenden and Rolvenden. We left about 10am and got back to the car about 8pm. We did have a wrong start and a problem with my drink leaking, and had the doggies too which may have delayed us a bit. Feeling a bit more confident for Saturday now.

13.4.15. This weekend, we walked around the Sussex downs which we could claim as training regarding the hills but we only did about 10 miles each day.

We did a training walk of 14 miles in the wind and wet around Bewl Water without too many issues. We worked out what leaks and what we needed to improve.

We did our first training walk on Sunday 1st Feb. 11.5 miles from Deal to Dover which took about 5 hours..... and my legs were hurting even a few days later. No blisters though! To build up to 27 miles we have a long way to go.
