In 2019 I joined the Cricket without Boundaries team to deliver projects in Masaka, Masindi and Mbarara in Uganda aimed at HIV awareness through spreading the love of cricket. Unfortunately the pandemic sadly curtailed our 2020 visit but i'm delighted to be returning this Autumn to help deliver another project to thousands of young people.

On my last trip we visited countless schools and over 5000 young boys and girls were coached by our group of volunteers. Upskilling and supporting the Ugandan coaches and ambassadors is also a vital part of our trip. In 2019 CWB trained 350 coaches and teachers across 7 countries. 

This year i plan to walk the 55k sandstone trail in just over 24 hours from Frodsham to Whitchurch and finish at my cricket club Malpas CC. Please support CWB and the great work it does to educate young people on Africa on HIV. It's an amazing cause and one i'm proud to support.
