My name is Tom Johnson and I am 38 years old.Despite having asthma and a disability called hemiplegia, I have been running for over 10 years.

Hemiplegia is a form of cerebral palsy, which effects either side of the body. For me it has affected my right side, giving me limited use of my arm & leg.

I have learnt over the years to adapt to everyday life but there are still some things I struggle with that most people take for granted.

I started running as a hobby to help with my leg & asthma and last year I successfully ran the 54k Isle of Wight Challenge.

I am taking on 106k Isle of Wight Challenge on the 5th & 6th May 2018 in aid of Age UK Isle of Wight. Please donate whatever you can to this great local cause!
