Story
Diolch am gymryd amser i ddarllen y tudalen yma wrth i mi baratoi i rhedeg hanner marathon Caerdydd. Dwi'n barod i ddyflbarhau tan y diwedd wrth i mi geisio godi arian at ddau elusen sy'n agos i'n calonau ni fel teulu. Roedd Mam-gu a Dats yn ddau ysbrydoliaeth mawr i fi gyda'u caredigrwydd, haelinoi, tegwch, hiwmor ond hefyd eu penderfyniad i beidio gadael i ddau salwch eu heffeithio yn eu henaint. Penderfyniad rwyf am geisio mabwysiadu wrth gwblhau'r hanner marathon.Roedd cartref gofal Shalom, Tyddewi, elusen lleol, yn help mawr i Nain a Dats, yn rhoi hoi iddyn nhw wrth iddo frwydro cancr. Byddai unrhyw cyfraniad yn help mawr i'r elusen bach lleol. Yn yr un modd rwyf am gyfrannu at y frwydr yn erbyn alzheimer, salwch naeth geisio ond methu cipio hapusrwydd Mam-gu. Parhau naeth y gwen! Yng ngeiriau Mam-gu: "Byddwch hael os gallwch."
Thanks for taking the time to read this page as I prepare to take on the Cardiff Half Marathon. I am determined to give my all, just as Dats would have demanded of me, as I raise money for two charities that are close to the heart. With their generosity, fairness, kindness, humour and their determination to battle against illness in old age, they were both a real inspiration to me. Their determination is something I want to adopt during this race. The personal, loving, care at Shalom House, St. David's gave a respite to Nain and to a degree Dats as he battled cancer and any contribution to this small charity would make a huge difference. In addition, I want to contribute to the battle against alzheimers, an illness that tried but failed to rid Mam-gu of her happiness. The smile never disappeared. As she would say, "Please be generous if you can."
