Despite running a few half marathon's, surprisingly this is now my third London Marathon. As always, I raise money for children's charities, and this year is no different, as I am trying to raise money for St Vincent's which is a specialist school for sensory impairment and other needs (www.stvin.com). This is a small charity that really appreciates every single donation that is made, regardless of size. Any donation you can afford to make will really make such a big difference to the children of St Vincent's who are faced with challenges most of us can only imagine. Sight is a wonderful gift that most of us take for granted! 

I don't do Facebook or other social media, this is probably as 'tech savvy' as it gets for me, so please share this page and information with as many friends as possible.

I am extremely fortunate to be given this opportunity to run the 2017 London Marathon for such a good cause, despite me having to cut down on the sweets and biscuits. Personally, I set myself targets of under two hours for any given half marathon. However, my intentions for the London Marathon are simply to complete the course (preferably the same day!), in one piece without any injury.

As usual, I will try my best but can't promise any fancy dress as I am still carrying far too much weight!
