This page was originally set up as  In November 2016, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I had operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, my life became a whirlwind of treatments. Thankfully I kicked the cancers butt and was trying to get my life back when I was chosen to become part of an amazing group of Ladies who had also beaten breast cancer.  The  Team Phoenix Foundation helped  us “rise from the ashes” and become firebirds who can complete a triathlon and get our lives back. I did compete and finish the Hever Castle triathlon on 22/9/18.

Update: 2019, I am a TP mentor for the new 2019 team, so I will be training and supporting these Ladies to enable them to complete the Hever Castle triathlon on 28/9/19.. Following this in 2020 I will be a mentor for the new team  and go through it again with them
