Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Help me run to run 13.1miles (only) to support young people aged 11-16 years old who are close to social and academic exclusion.

I'm sure we can all remember that this age range is tough enough without the added negativity that being excluded from society and education can bring. Sitting quietly in a confined classroom isn't everyone's cup of tea and some are not fortunate to be given the opportunity to do so.

I have always Loved taking learning outside and learning with a hands on approach, especially including animals. This is why I'm supporting Jamie's farm. It gives young people opportunities to live and work on the farm, nurture animals, cook, garden, and experience the therapeutic benefit of being around animals. It gives each young person the chance to understand their strengths and weaknesses, reengage in educational life and fulfil their potential.
