Event: Reading Half Marathon 2018, on 18 March 2018
Buscot Ward needs 2 brand new, incubators to help the doctors and nurses continue to deliver the best possible care for babies on Buscot.

Story

We have entered the Reading Half Marathon via two Charity places raising money for BIBS (Babes In Buscott) which raises money for the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. As you may know Our Daughters, Lily and her twin sister Ella, were born nearly 10 weeks early resulting in Lily spending several weeks in the Special Care Baby Units at Oxford John Radcliff and the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.

The care Lily received was vital and the equipment used to support such a little life is very expensive indeed. Without Charities like BIBS the help we received would not have been as good. There are many families, of which we are one, whose little ones would not be here today if it were not for the care provided by these units and in turn the financial support provided by such charities to hospitals.
