On January 6th 2015, our darling Peter went to sleep forever. He was just 13 years old, and has left a huge gap in our lives. Beth, Stuart, Lia, Helen and Sian have been so strong and a true inspiration, I love them all dearly. 

The amazing love that family, friends and the whole community has shared to support the family, not just mourn the loss of Peter, but really celebrate his life; has been so moving.

I think everyone when they hear how quickly and suddenly Peter left us, holds their children and loved ones just that little tighter, not wanting to ever let them go.

This is why I have chosen to celebrate Peter's life this year by choosing 2 Wish Upon a Star for the Triathlon.  This wonderful charity meets a real need in Wales, supporting suddenly bereaved parents, and siblings.  There are very few services in Wales for the suddenly bereaved, especially for siblings.  This charity needs money and support!!!

So this fundraiser is for Beth, Stuart,  and especially for Lia, who is the most awesome little girl I have ever met.  She has a beautiful heart and tenacity (miniature Beth) that never fails to surprise me.  Who have been supported by Rhian Burkes amazing charity.

Peter was all about his family, and loved them all dearly, so I feel that this is a great way to celebrate his life. He will also think I am off my rocker - as a triathlon! AHHHH!!!! That's 6months training - learning to swim properly and ride a bike safely thank the lord I can run.
