Puma Hell Run · 28 November 2010

What a Difference a Day Makes... Last year, Happy Days helped almost 25,000 children with life-limiting illnesses, mental and physical disabilities and those who had suffered abuse and neglect. We also gave magical days out to bereaved children, as well as young carers supporting their families.

Story

Jessika, Tom, Simon, Maria and Marc are PhD students and Post-Docs in Tribology at Imperial College London.  We are running the Puma HellRunner race on Sunday 28th November in aid of the Happy Days Children’s Charity.  The race is a tough cross-country run of between 10-12 miles (16-19km), up steep hills and through rivers, so please help us make it worthwhile by sponsoring the team.  (Have a look at the video on their website www.hellrunner.co.uk/index.htm to see just how hellish it is!)

Happy Days helps children with special needs, sometimes with life limiting conditions.  It funds holidays and day trips in the UK  that these children would otherwise not have, and helps children with special needs in schools, in hospitals and in hospices as well as families.
