We support brain injury survivors to improve life after brain injury

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Pre-COVID, I got a surprise place to run the London Marathon! I had no idea how to run, no idea where to begin and no idea if it was even possible. But I did know that it would be a chance to REALLY challenge myself, and hopefully to raise some money for a very worthy cause.

Fast forward to now, and after blisters, chafing, sore knees, sore hips, a wrecked back, 1 virtual marathon on the lashing rain, and hundreds of slow and painful miles, I think it may be possible.

The one thing I do know for sure is that people effected by a brain injury need more support to live a life that is as whole and happy as can be. The work done by Headway is a lifeline to so many individuals and families so that they have access to social activities and the support they need.

If you can contribute to this wonderful charity, or if you would like to show some sympathy for my tired and aching body, then please do what you can.

Thank you so much for any contribution you can make.
