LATEST UPDATE 7th AUGUST
WE DID IT!!
Despite sideways rain for almost the entire time we managed to do it! Sore feet/knees and very soggy clothes all round.
We are so thankful to everyone who has donated to the cause. It made the pain all worth it!!
UPDATE. We are overwhelmed by the generosity (and faith) of our friends and family so far. Thanks so much to those who have already donated. We have increased our goal to try to raise even more for Worldwide Radiology.
Sheetal, Rashika, Cat, Jehan and Becki are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to help raise money for Worldwide Radiology, a charity we greatly admire and some of us have direct experience working with.
Despite having limited (OK, virtually no) trekking experience, we are willing to give the 38km (with 1585m of ascent!) a good go and see how many of us survive till the end!
Who are Worldwide Radiology?
Worldwide Radiology support the development of appropriate high quality imaging services in low and middle income countries. They train and work together with healthcare staff to build the necessary skills and capacity to improve patient care and aim to increase opportunities for imaging research focused on local or national healthcare priorities
