We are students of The University of St Mark & St John organising an event in order to raise money for the charity HeartSWell. 

HeartSWell is a registered charity who are committed to supporting heart patients, their carers and their families in the Westcountry.

Since 1966 they have raised over one million pounds, with these donations they are able to provide;

- Life saving Cardiac equipment for hospitals in Devon & Cornwall 
- Funding for specialist cardiac nursing.
- Funding towards nurse training. 

We are running a Tug-Of-War Family Fun Day at Tavistock Rugby Club on the 26th April 2015 as part of our Sports Development Degree.
Although this is being created as part of our degree, this charity and the event are close to all of our hearts. 

Any money that is donated will go towards funding equipment such as Defibrillators and TOE probes, specialist counsellors at Derriford Hospital in particular, and the Region in general.

We appreciate all support and donations anyone can give and every penny will count towards the support HeartSWell can provide. 

We hope to see as many of you as possible at our event on the 26th of April and will post a link closer to the time.
