2020 has not necessarily been the best of years and as a result families who were already struggling before have unfortunately faced an even tougher time. To help make at least the end of this year better for some of these families, the Hitchin Christmas Hamper Appeal* is currently raising funds for essential Christmas food and kids’ Christmas presents for local families in need. 

In support of the Hitchin Christmas Hamper Appeal I am doing a “Twelve Runs of Christmas” challenge to raise additional funding. The challenge will comprise 12 runs between 1st and 25th December (total of 78 km or 48.5 miles; see schedule below) and if you would like to contribute to this fundraiser you can make a donation through this JustGiving page. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated.

Particularly the last 10 days will be pretty tough, I suspect. Thankfully I won’t be alone in this as my dear friends and former running buddies Matt and Ed have promised moral support and will join me for some of the runs (even if only remotely). Thanks guys!
