Dani, Nicki and I all felt like we needed a fitness goal to aim for and so chose to run the Slaithwaite 10K (The Northern Jumble) together so that we might spur each other on. Compassion in World Farming is a charity close to our hearts and so it made sense to use the event as an opportunity to raise funds to improve the welfare of the UK's most neglected animals and to help the charity in spreading the word about their plight so that people might be moved to make positive changes as consumers. Brian, my Dad, decided just to tag along to show off how fit he is at the age of 72!!!
