Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and around 6 (currently) other people will be running as a team on tough mudder classic northwest 2019.

Tough mudder is a 10-12 mile long course with around 25 different obstacles along the way to get over/under or through.

This will be my third tough mudder having completed my first way back in 2014 and successfully raising over £5000 to enable the purchase of a carbon fibre wheelchair and a mobility scooter for an old army pal of mine - I did another (with no training) 1 year later for fun and the time has now come to raise some much needed funds for a wonderful charity VETERANS LIFELINE and their minibus appeal.

They desperately need to raise around £20000 in order to purchase a minibus which will be instrumental in getting struggling veterans away for respite leave at their caravan.

Veterans lifeline will use 100% of donations to go towards this fund as no one at the charity takes a wage of any form (as far as I am aware) so you will be safe in the knowledge that your donation however big or small will not be going to line the pockets of a greedy CEO so he can buy another new flash  car!

Please help where you can - I’ve set the bar the same as my last target as this would go a massive way to getting them the minibus...

Update... I’ve lowered the target donations amount as we are MILES away from achieving this... my thoughts are that people are negating to donate as they think their donation won’t make a difference.... IT WILL - even if it is as little as a pound (same price as that cheeseburger from Mac Donald’s you are considering eating as a snack)

No one will judge or see you differently if you give £1 or £100 ... EVERY PENNY GOES INTO THE NEW MINIBUS!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
