Hi Everyone

As some of you may know, for the last few Thursdays we have started an hour of ‘dancing in the street’ down Somerset Avenue (Chessington) in the lead up of the national 8pm clap for our wonderful key workers. From something that has started as a little bit of fun to boost the spirits in the community during this uneasy time, it has started to grow across the town and is even being streamed across the globe in places such as America, Australia and Thailand! We have had amazing feedback and every week there are more and more people joining in with the uplifting music from their doorsteps, windows and even roof tops! 

Unfortunately, I was one of many who ended up in Kingston Hospital with suspected Covid-19 and the care I was given really was outstanding. As much as this hour allows us to forget the current issues and the pressure that our NHS has been put under, we do not want to deter away from acknowledging how tirelessly they are working. We have therefore decided to set up this fundraising page to show appreciation of our great National Health Service, particularly our local Kingston hospital. We would be grateful to donate as much or as little as you can as every penny makes a difference.
