Story
Our beautiful baby girl, Evie Rose Alexandra Warnock, was born 7 weeks early on 31st May 2019 weighing 3lb 9oz. Soon after her arrival it became apparent that Evie had serious, underlying health difficulties which were not detectable until after she was born. Our brave little girl fought against the odds and even underwent and survived major surgery at 6 days old in an effort to improve her health. Sadly despite the best efforts and support from all involved, Evie passed away aged 18 days old on 18.06.19.
Evie was born in Craigavon Area Hospital and received specialist treatment in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children in PICU. This experience was extremely difficult for us as her parents, however we were surrounded and supported by the most amazing and inspirational team of medical professionals throughout our time in RBHSC. The level of dedication, compassion and professionalism displayed by everyone involved in Evie's care moved us greatly and we will forever be appreciative of everything they did for our baby girl and us as a family.
We are aware of the fantastic work which the Helping Hand Charity provides across the RBHSC on a daily basis for sick children and their families. We would like to offer a contribution as a small memorial to our little girl in the hope that other children and families can further benefit from this support.
Many thanks,
Veronica and Rory
