Update 12.05.2020 - When I signed up for 26 miles around Kielder Water it felt like quite a challenge. Shortly after committing to getting fit on my bike, life as we know it in the UK changed as lockdown became necessary. I have continued to build my cycling fitness in my daily exercise and as we are now able to exercise for longer I have decided to revive the plan and cycle 26 miles on 17th May for Calvert Kielder. I will complete my bike ride on my own in County Durham (where I will be assured of a mobile signal just in case of any mishap). I will take selfies as proof and hope that you will be able to sponsor me to support this fantastic organisation which needs our support now more than ever.

I've seen first hand the positive and lasting impact Calvert Kielder make for whole families. I have been struck by their inclusive and enabling approach which creates opportunities helping people achieve their goals and surpass what they thought they could do. The power of this can be transformational.

I've not done anything like this for many years and it will be a challenge but I think in return for your donation I should be doing something that isn't easy and will take some dedication and perseverance.
