On Monday 2nd December 2013 Claire gave birth to our precious little boy, Ben. As with any new family your lives are completely transformed overnight. We knew our journey was going to be different to most as he was pre diagnosed with Trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down's Syndrome. We have met some amazing people on our journey to date, lots of children with all kinds of additional needs and made friends for life that we may never had met had Ben not been gifted with DS.

The team at Steps Conductive Education Centre are truly inspirational and have been influential in Ben's development. They are fully funded by charity donations and are an invaluable source of support to a number of families in a similar situation.

I want to thank everyone at Vodafone who has joined this journey with me to run the half marathon for an amazing cause.
