I want to raise money for Savanna- a service for the people harmed by sexual assault. I could talk about my story or I could talk about how I can name more friends whove been through some form of sexual violence than haven't. I couldn't believe how common it was, since opening up about my own experience way too many people have empathised with their own trauma to relate. I understand now why the waiting list for access to these services is so long, but the wait takes its toll.

I was just a drunk girl trying to get home. Sarah Everard was just doing her shopping. Some people are already home and its the people they trust who attack them.

In order to raise money for this service im going to do a midnight Walk from Newcastle-under-Lyme (exact place to be confirmed) - back to Keele University where I currently live. You can join me (socially distant of course) or just support this however you like.
