Story

Along with Ronnie and Jeff, I am walking the final stage of the Camino de Santiago in Spain. As we realise a long held ambition, we will be walking in solidarity with the many people who walk many miles each day to go to school or to get clean water.Through your support and encouragement for us, you will be helping SCIAF continue their work with some of the poorest communities around the world.  Thank you for your support, it is very much appreciated.

SCIAF Works in Africa, Asia and Latin America, with some of the world’s poorest communities. Giving families tools, seeds and training so they can grow enough food to eat. Helping young people into school, and setting up skills training so people can learn to make a living.

Where communities have been torn apart by war SCIAF helps them to rebuild and live in peace. When natural disasters strike SCIAF works through the global Caritas network to get life-saving help to those who need it most.

About the charity

We help people in the world’s poorest places to lift themselves out of poverty, work together to protect our common home, and help people recover from disaster. We work in partnership with local and church organisations, supporting communities across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
