What is IJM? IJM (International Justice Missions) is the world's largest non-profit organisation whose specific purpose is to combat slavery in all of its forms. There are an estimated 40.3 million people who are victims of modern-day slavery. They work with local police and law enforcement to rescue victims, restrain criminals, and restore survivors. Since opening their offices in 2000 they have helped rescue 53,000 people from persecution. To learn more visit https://www.ijmuk.org.
Why is my support needed and where is it going? IJM depends on the support of others in order to carry out its mission in countries like India, Thailand, and, the Philippines. Donating is also a great first step to get involved in the greater work of learning about the extend of human trafficking and become an advocate for freedom.
Why £2020.00 - 2020 has been an especially challenging year for all of us. Although we have seen much of our world shut down, the work of human trafficking has not. With so much seeming like it is out of our control we can begin to feel helpless. But we believe that we can see this year redeemed and impact made.
Recommended Donations: All gifts are welcome but ideas for amounts to give would be 96.00 to sponsor every mile of our trek or choose to sponsor the milage for one individual day.
